The society for Development of African Ocean and Sea Environment, also known as the Blue Economy Society undertakes advocacy and knowledge sharing programs that aim to help the development and growth of ocean related (blue) economic activities of coastal and maritime regions of African countries. BES carries out knowledge sharing, enlightenments, and community building activities that aim to motivate and drive stakeholders to take actions that accelerates the development of inherent blue economy potentials into transformative economic projects, and thereby, achieving our core vision, which is, to see the sustainable development of the blue economy endowments of African countries transforming into being the major drivers of the national economies of coastal and maritime countries and regions of Africa.
